Phantom SCATTER is used to determine the necessary attenuation and scattering corrections after identifying the measurements generated in the random events of the initial equipment test.
INDICATION FOR USE :
- Acceptance test;
- Quality assurance and control;
- Determination of relative sensitivity to scattered radiation (scatter fraction), dead time effects and random coincidences;
- Accuracy of corrections for these effects;
- Performance of counting Random Events, counting True Events and measuring Signal/Noise Equivalent (NEC) as a function of Source Activity.
